Data Flow Architecture
The diagram below outlines the three main stages of data flowing through an i.Know deployment, before the output of the Smart Indexing Engine ends up in the Smart Storage component, from where it can be accessed through the Knowledge Portal or any of the relevant APIs described in the previous chapter. The different components in this architecture are developed in such a way that multiple instances of them can run in parallel with each other, leveraging multi-core and distributed platforms for optimal performance.
